Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner could end up in the same team as LeBron James in the 2022-23 season, reports suggest. The 26-year-old player has been linked with LeBron James and the Lakers for some time now. Meanwhile, recent reports have revealed that the Indiana Pacers are likely to trade Turner this offseason.
The Los Angeles Lakers have been trying to find a way to trade Russell Westbrook ever since the 2017 MVP’s underwhelming performance in the 2021-22 season. However, trade arrangements have suffered because of Westbrook’s exorbitant contract. As a result, the Lakers would be looking for decent role players this season to complement LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Moreover, they would be looking to trade some big superstars who have failed to deliver last season.

Meanwhile, Russell Westbrook failed to perform without the ball with LeBron James as the floor general. Therefore, the ball-dominant guard is a misfit in the Lakers roster. However, he could be effective as the centerpiece of an Indiana Pacers team that went 25-57 last season.
On the other hand, a sharp-shooter like Buddy Hield could open up new avenues for the Lakers. Especially, with a passer like LeBron in the team. Additionally, Myles Turner, a two-time league leader in blocks, would be pivotal on the defensive end.
