Three-time NBA champion Stephen Curry just put in a monstrous performance to give his side hope in the NBA Finals. Going into Game 4 of the Finals, the Warriors were down 2-1. That’s when Curry took matters into his own hands.
He scored 43 points to win the game for the Warriors with his performance putting him in elite company. This is Curry’s 13th NBA Finals game where he scored 30+ points, equal to the late great Kobe Bryant.
Curry gathered praise from all around the world including Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. James posted a series of tweets praising the Warriors star. He said, “Can NEVER EVER count “THE CHOSEN 1s” out!”

Interestingly enough, LeBron takes spot number two on the list with 22 Finals games where he has scored 30 or more. Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan leads the way with 23 games followed by LeBron, Shaquille O’Neal with 16, and Kobe and Curry with 13.
Stephen Curry obliterates the Celtics with an unreal performance
Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics turned out to be a treat for the fans. The match was usually a close affair throughout with Curry being the defining factor.
The three-time NBA champion and former MVP put in a monstrous performance to help his team get the better of Boston. He scored 43 points along with 10 rebounds to give the Warriors a 107-97 win.
However, he was not the only Warriors star to deliver a great performance. Andrew Wiggins scored 17 points and 16 rebounds while Jordan Poole and Klay Thompson combined for 32 points.

On the other hand, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown put in a good shift but it wasn’t enough to match Curry’s heroics. Tatum scored 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists while Brown scored 21 points.
With this crucial win, the series is tied at 2-2 with the next game set to take place in the Chase Center. And Curry will look to continue his fantastic form. Safe to say, the Finals MVP award is not far away for Curry if he continues to put in such performances.
