Kanye West established Yeezy as a renowned brand among celebrities and athletes. Many stars including Kevin Hart, Kim Kardashian, Roger Federer, Rihanna, and Kylie Jenner have been spotted wearing West’s Yeezy shoes. However, seeing four-time NBA champ LeBron James in Yeezy shoes was a sight to behold.
LeBron James spotted in Air Yeezys
In the resurfaced image, LeBron is seen all dressed up in black with Air Yeezy shown on his feet. It was a shocker as James has been loyal to Nike since the start of his career. However, James probably wore the Yeezy shoes when Kanye West was a part of the Nike family. Ye ended his partnership with Nike in 2013 and took Yeezy to Adidas.
The then-18-year-old LeBron James initially signed a seven-year, $90 million deal with Nike. Later on, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar signed a lifetime deal with the sneaker brand, earning him $30 million a year. Thus, it was quite a surprise to see James donning the Yeezy shoes in public.

However, it is no surprise that he was quite swayed by Kanye West’s Yeezys. James’ Nike LeBron 15s are believed to have been inspired by Kanye West’s Air Jeezy 1.

However, West faced the biggest blow when Adidas decided to pull out of its partnership with West. The move has plummeted West’s net worth from $1.5 billion to $400 million. Moreover, West now faces a threat to his Yeezy as Adidas is likely to fight for the ownership of the brand.
