With so much stress and pressure on the Los Angeles Lakers to come out on top in the upcoming 2021-22 NBA season, LeBron James will have to look for many ways to relax. It’s probably very hard for NBA players to calm their nerves before vital games and the opener might be one of them. The Lakers will be playing the Golden State Warriors, a team that outshined them in the preseason. Fortunately for Bron, he has the Calm app to get him a good night’s sleep. In fact, he even starred in a recent advertisement for the company.

LeBron James stars in a commercial for ‘Calm’

LeBron James is one of the greatest players in the league, even at the age of 36-years old, because of his fierce work ethic. And of course, let’s not forget his extreme focus on keeping himself physically fit. However, one can only be healthy physically if their mental health is also being taken care of. And that’s when people turn to the Unicorn App, Calm.

Bron partnered up with Calm, an app that helps in relaxation and meditation while touting for mental fitness. It was something his wife introduced to him a year before this deal. And ever since, he hasn’t taken a nap or gone to sleep without using it. Because of how well it worked for him, he decided to become a part of it as well.

His partnership with them back in 2017, and the rest is history. He has continued to advertise for them and a new one has just dropped in. He even posted the commercial through Twitter with the caption, “Greatness lies on the other side of sleep. Calm gets my mind right for the season and helps my sleep increase to put my mind at peace. Let’s go!”

The Lakers superstar will need all the rest he can get

The preseason for the purple and gold was hardly up to the mark. They lost all their games, despite building the super team everyone was looking forward to seeing on the floor. Unfortunately, their injury woes haven’t stopped following them since last season.

Kendrick Nunn and Malik Monk, are both questionable for their season opener. Whereas, Talen Horton-Tucker, Wayne Ellington, and Trevor Ariza won’t be returning anytime soon. This means that the Lakers’ fate, once again, lies in the hands of LeBron. Only this time, he will have another helping hand other than Anthony Davis, which is Russell Westbrook.

Looks like the app that he is advertising, is something Lakers fans and he will need the most. Can Bron channel his inner peace and lead the team to a successful run this time?
