The most famous one is Spotify Wrapped, in which users can see their top artists, songs, etc. The 2021 “Year on Twitter” by Front Office Sports is out the Lakers have dominated all the lists of the yearly roundup.

List of top 10 Teams

The Los Angeles Lakers have topped the list for 2021’s “Most tweeted teams” beating teams from the NFL and MLB. New York Yankees, a popular Major League Baseball team, and the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League finished below the Lakers.

Although the NFL is the most popular league in the United States, the Packers were no match for LA Lakers. The Lakers are a hugely popular team having the likes of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook.

The list also had the likes of Los Angeles Dodgers from Major League Baseball and the New York Knicks from the NBA. Atlanta Braves are in 10th place despite being the current champions of MLB.

LeBron James also tops the list for the most tweeted about male athlete while the Tokyo Olympics take the number 1 spot for the top sporting event of the year.
