The Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets are the two teams whose high-profile players are the subject of trade rumors. Furthermore, they’ve been linked frequently in the same whispers, with several believing that they should exchange their star players. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have continued to be embroiled in the trade rumors; they may be on their way out of Brooklyn.

The Lakers’ fan base has also expressed impatience in wanting some of their players, namely Russell Westbrook, to leave. Brodie was acquired over the last summer to form a formidable trio with LeBron James and Anthony Davis. However, the franchise’s strategy backfired as Westbrook was unable to produce at his best alongside the other two stars.

The situations in the two separate dugouts have strangely blended, and many people are suggesting trades that will satisfy both sides. According to an NBA Insider, the Lakers should stop attempting to get Westbrook out alone. In fact, they should include Anthony Davis in the trade to acquire both Durant and Irving.

?Kyrie is the move,? the insider?told Bleacher Report. ?They should offer Davis with Westbrook. Try and get Kevin Durant. KD for AD. and a pick is as close as (the Nets) will get to what they want.???

As appealing as this trade notion sounds, it is currently exceedingly unrealistic. Of course, the salaries will not be an issue, since Westbrook and AD will earn a combined $85 million next season, while Durant and Irving will get $80 million.

However, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Brooklyn wants to make this deal one of the biggest trade returns in league history. As a result, the Nets would probably demand more. Even if they get both Davis and Westbrook, they will almost surely seek draft picks.

The Lakers would be a cheat code if they put Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant alongside LeBron James

Last season, the Lakers struggled to find the rhythm. Chemistry concerns were evident from the start, and injuries further compounded their dreadful season. As a result, they have shown a strong desire to trade Russell Westbrook. However, they have offered no indications to relocate Anthony Davis at this time.

Therefore, the above hypothetical blockbuster trade is highly unrealistic right now. However, there is no disputing that LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant would form the most destructive trifecta in NBA history.

Kyrie Irving and LeBron James are former teammates. They even helped the Cleveland Cavaliers capture their first NBA championship. As a result, the lethal nature of their duo is well documented.
