The Brooklyn Nets have come up in a nice way from the James Harden trade. Despite losing out on an important player, the Nets have done really well. Even when Simmons hasn’t played, their duo has showcased their true ability. Even tonight, one-half of the duo, Kyrie Irving, went off yet again. Going up against the Orlando Magic, Irving exploded in the first half and had yet another 50 point game to add to his stacked resume.
Many people felt Irving was snubbed from the NBA 75 list. While there are arguments as to what he stands for outside the court, his on-court ability is one of the purest in the game. Hence, when Irving and Durant linked up, the entire league knew what they were in for. And ever since losing Harden, both the superstars have been on a tear for Brooklyn. Irving scored his second fifty-point game of the season against the Magic as Durant got the front seat to his phenomenal performance.

Kyrie Irving with a 60 point explosion
Taking on the Orlando Magic, everyone expected the Nets to be on top. However, Kyrie came in to drop a bombshell in Orlando. He went for a career-high 41 points in the first half and set the tone early for the Nets. This came to be his second 50 point game in his last three appearances for the Nets. Despite having an efficient game, like the fans, all KD could do was be mesmerized by his partner in crime.
Irving stayed hot all night as he set off contributions on both ends of the court. KAI showcased why he is still one of the elite scorers in the league. While his dream of playing full-time this season still hasn’t come true, there is no doubt he is already gearing up for the coming playoffs.

Getting into Orlando, Kyrie Irving took things into his own hands. The superstar point guard exploded for 60 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. Irving was in his element all night, shooting an unreal 64% from the field and 66% from downtown. Surprisingly, Durant took the back seat, scoring 19 points on 6-9 shooting. 7 Nets players scored in double digits as they beat the Orlando Magic 150-108 in convincing fashion.
For the Magic, their young core had solid games, but it was nothing compared to Kyrie. Cole Anthony led the way with 19 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists. Coming off an impressive game, Wendell Carter Jr. tallied 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. In addition, both Wagner brothers also contributed well, combining 33 points for the night. With Orlando being out of the playoff picture, their young core has a great future ahead of them.
