LeBron James is one of the best basketball players to ever play the game. However, with all the love also comes hate. With every small mistake James makes, the scrutiny is massive. While the King uses the court to respond, for the most part, James can be vocal. He used his good friend Jay-Z’s rap lyrics to shut off his haters. But that did not go his way.

James came into the NBA with all the pressure on him. As an 18-year-old coming in, he was titled as the next thing in basketball. With Jordan-like expectations from the get-go, James has surpassed any expectation set. The Akron Hammer has scored over 35k points and has made history every step of the way. But he had to endure a lot of hate in these times as well.

Even Jay Z can’t help LeBron James

With all the hate going in on the Lakers and LeBron, the 4 time MVP couldn’t keep it in for long. However, he had to find an iconic way to respond to it. He took out lyrics from his good friend Jay-Z’s songs to silence the hate. But it backfired his way in a big way as fans retaliated with more slander.

James wrote, Man Respect the game that should be it. What you eat don’t make me s**t. Where’s the love lyrics.”
