Dennis Rodman has never been one to shy away from saying whatever is on his mind. The 5x NBA champion made a name for himself in the league due to his rebounding and defensive skills. However, Rodman is remembered more for his antics off the court. His eccentric personality caught the eyes of many people throughout his career. He’s one of those guys you’d love to have on your team but hate playing against. Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls will undoubtedly have fond memories of ‘The Worm’ during his time in the Windy City. Rodman has always been respectful of Jordan and the city of Chicago. However, one player who he doesn’t seem to respect as much is LeBron James.
The Los Angeles Lakers star has been slammed by Rodman every now and then. Rodman participated in a lie detector test for ‘Overtime’ in 2019 and made huge claims against LeBron. The Bulls legend didn’t hold back with his criticism of ‘The King.’

Rodman was asked whether he could have locked up LeBron in his prime. He answered, “Do you know who can lock up LeBron? Me, Mike, and Scottie could”. The light turned red as soon as he answered indicating he was lying. Nevertheless, Rodman continued to justify his take.
“LeBron is so easy to play. He’s so fucking easy to play. He don’t have any moves… He ain’t got no moves,” he continued. “Scottie Pippen could shut his fucking ass down quick before I get to him. His game is too simple, he just big…. 6’8, 6’9. That’s the only thing he got. Pretty much. I’ve played against guys 7’0, 300. So, it don’t really matter.”
While Rodman, Pippen, and Jordan are three of the greatest defenders of all time, LeBron is arguably the greatest player of all time. Who might have come out on top in a hypothetical matchup is difficult to ascertain.
