Any major injury can be a menace to an athlete’s career. Not only does it cut it short, but the recovery process could change a players’ game altogether. On the Lakers, someone like Anthony Davis is quite injury prone and is always trying to make his body the best fit for his explosive game. However, with LeBron James, injuries are not that frequent because he puts in a lot of work on his body.
Despite being in year 19, LeBron looks as young as ever on the court. His vision keeps getting better while he performs at the top level. However, heading to 37 this season, injuries seem to be coming in at this point. Last year, LeBron suffered an injury in the later half of the season. Due to this he couldn’t return at his best against Phoenix and saw a first round exit. Now, early into the new season, James has picked up an ankle injury.

While it did not look as serious, LeBron took a break of two games to heal from the injury. Making his return against Cleveland Cavaliers, the ‘King’ had not missed a beat. However, despite being listed questionable for the road game (against Rockets), LeBron seems to have other plans.

LeBron James to play against Houston?
LeBron James played in his second game on returning against the Houston Rockets. However, it did not go like his return game against the Cavs. While the Lakers did come out with the win, it was a sloppy affair for most of the night. He only put up 15 points while shooting 31% from the field.
It seems like James is yet to recover completely from his ankle soreness. Likewise, the Lakers listed him as questionable for the upcoming road game against the Rockets. However, it seems like LeBron James is all geared up and excited to ball tomorrow. He sent out a tweet hinting that he will take part in the game against Houston despite being listed questionable.

It isn’t alike LeBron to defy the medical side of things. He would rather not fight through injuries given his age and chances at a chip. James wouldn’t want to throw away this season due to such reasons. Hence, the reason could be that his ankle feels a lot better now. The ‘King’ looks sure to be playing tomorrow with the tweet that he put out for everyone.
