The Nets’ matchup against the Hornets was a nail-biter. However, the Nets triumphed by 4 points, the final score being 94-98. Kevin Durant was the star of the night, leading the team to win almost on his own. During 37 minutes on the court, he scored 27 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. Cam Thomas’ 21-point performance was also noteworthy.
The team didn’t let the fans feel the absence of Kyrie Irving, who has been suspended for at least five games following his controversial Twitter post.
LeBron James reacted to Kevin Durant’s performance
Durant was absent at the beginning of the fourth quarter but entered the court in the final six minutes of the game, with Michael Jordan’s team up by 10 points. Just after the game, King James tweeted, “KD ain’t right!!! KILLER.”??Terry Rozier, on the other hand, who is making a comeback after an injury, put up a terrific battle against the Nets. Rozier led the Charlotte Hornets with 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists in the game.
