Kevin Durant has been on his best game this season. Despite a few injury scares earlier, he has returned to playing the kind of basketball we all know KD is capable of. One of the best scorers in history has been in his best scoring form.

Durant has averaged his best points per game since the 2013-14 season. KD is only 1 of 2 players in NBA history with 25+ career PPG and a True Shooting percentage of at least .600.

NBA fans charge on Kevin Durant after self proclaimed ‘God’ stance

TV personality Nick Wright of Fox Sports 1 recently tweeted and claimed that KD had been the 2nd best player after LeBron for a decade and now he is the second-best to Giannis.

Kevin Durant was quick to reply, referring to himself as ‘god’.

Nick then dropped a question for KD asking if KD was a god, then what would that make Giannis.

KD answered in 2 words about Giannis, “A god” before elaborating his point.

This was a savage response from KD stating that one can be a god in his own eyes with his belief in himself, but rather called Nick Wright a peasant for his tweets. The fans loved the replies from the Nets’ man. However, LeBron fans were not that impressed.

Most fans absolutely enjoyed this exchange.
