Kevin Durant has been on his best game this season. Despite a few injury scares earlier, he has returned to playing the kind of basketball we all know KD is capable of. One of the best scorers in history has been in his best scoring form.
Durant has averaged his best points per game since the 2013-14 season. KD is only 1 of 2 players in NBA history with 25+ career PPG and a True Shooting percentage of at least .600.

‘King James’ and the ‘Slim Reaper’ have been bossing the league ever since their debuts. However, Nick Wright feels that KD might end up the second-best player in the NBA for life.
NBA fans charge on Kevin Durant after self proclaimed ‘God’ stance
TV personality Nick Wright of Fox Sports 1 recently tweeted and claimed that KD had been the 2nd best player after LeBron for a decade and now he is the second-best to Giannis.
I legit feel for KD… he had to be 2nd best to LeBron for a decade and the MOMENT he might’ve passed LeBron, Giannis passed him.
2nd player out of high school. 2nd pick in the draft. 2nd best player in the NBA for life. Legit awful luck.

Kevin Durant was quick to reply, referring to himself as ‘god’.
Don’t feel bad for the god. Life has been incredible little Nicky 😁 https://t.co/fZ0jrPHXHm
— Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) April 1, 2022
Nick then dropped a question for KD asking if KD was a god, then what would that make Giannis.
Honest question before bed… if KD is a “God”, what does that make Giannis??? https://t.co/Say9gwj4az

KD answered in 2 words about Giannis, “A god” before elaborating his point.
A god. Just like you are but u rather be a peasant https://t.co/ZSmUmhGl1D
— Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) April 1, 2022
This was a savage response from KD stating that one can be a god in his own eyes with his belief in himself, but rather called Nick Wright a peasant for his tweets. The fans loved the replies from the Nets’ man. However, LeBron fans were not that impressed.
LeBron owns u

He didn't call himself "a god" he refereed to himself as "the god". Also he def ain't no KD because he is better. KD has a higher ceiling due to the shooting but Giannis consistency is on another level

The Nets are 40-37 and the 8th seed as of right now. With a playoff spot looking far from reach with every loss, they need to make sure they finish in a convincing play-in spot. Kevin Durant is extremely essential for that and by the looks of it, he will give his all to make that happen.
Do you think the Brooklyn Nets can win it all this season?
