LeBron James has been a hot topic of discussion ever since the All-Star Weekend. LeBron made it clear that he would do anything to play with his son if he ever joins the league. He also made a statement after the All-Star game that his return to Cleveland is not impossible. Consequentially, spectators have been discussing about his future with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Amidst all these rumors, LeBron cleared up the fact that he will not leave this city. LeBron and the Lakers had a very disappointing loss against the Los Angeles Clippers today. They lost the game by a mere three points as they could not catch up to the Clippers by the end.

However, after the game, LeBron addressed the concerns regarding his speculated trade rumors. LeBron said, “I see myself being with the purple can gold as long as I play.” LeBron is a loyal teammate and will stick to this franchise. However, LeBron does agree that he would love to have a chance to play with his son.

LeBron has already created a legacy in basketball. There is nothing he has not achieved as a professional basketball player. Therefore, his last wish as a player is to share the court with his son. That is not something unreasonable, or something for people to speculate. It is just a father showing love to his son.

Why is LeBron James angry? 

For the past few weeks, all reporters have been bombarding LeBron with questions related to his speculated departure from the Lakers. James says, “I don’t know what tomorrow holds.” LeBron said in the post-game interview that there was one reporter who kept asking him what is the deal with him joining the Cavaliers. Moreover, the reporter kept pushing him to answer if he would ever leave the Lakers for his son.

LeBron was appalled by this. He felt that he never said anything so concrete regarding leaving the Lakers. The King said, “Like you guys take some of my words, and twist them to different places where it shouldn’t go.” LeBron does not appreciate how journalists will turn anything around to make it seem controversial.

LeBron explained that the same happened when he appreciated the General Manager of Oklahoma City Thunder. Reporters twisted it around to mean that LeBron does not appreciate his own GM, Rob Pelinka. LeBron is fed up and frustrated with how reporters are causing controversies out of nowhere.
