Former Nuggets coach proposes an insane trade involving LeBron James
The Los Angeles Lakers were on the road against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. The Lakers were missing the All-star point guard Russell Westbrook who was out for the game because of a hamstring injury.
After last night’s game, former Nuggets coach, George Karl, took to Twitter and proposed the potential trade for the Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.

They would become title contenders overnight if the Nuggets could pull this off. If the Nuggets actually pursued trading for the King, they would have to give up most of their assets. However, the Nuggets aren’t a team like the Oklahoma City Thunder or the Orlando Magic, who have a ton of assets in the form of picks. With limited assets, trading for James will be a tall order for the Nuggets.

According to reports, the Denver Nuggets were among the teams in line to acquire James from the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2018. The Nuggets reportedly pursued James aggressively and were in constant touch with his team. They had planned to pair the King with Jokic and Will Barton. But Denver fell short, and the Los Angeles Lakers came out on top in signing the then 3x NBA champion.

The current back-to-back MVP, Nikola Jokic, willed the Nuggets to a victory with a monster stat line of 31 points, 13 rebounds, and 9 assists; a near triple-double. Both LeBron James and fellow All-star forward Anthony Davis had an underwhelming performance last night.
