However, that might not be the case for Toronto Raptors’ newbie Scottie Barnes.
In a post-game interview, Barnes was asked about James, and how special the four-time NBA Champion was to him.

Barnes, 20, was born when Bryant had just won his three-peat with the Lakers. Having grown up with Bryant playing dominant basketball on the court, makes his love for the late NBA legend unsurprising. Of course, Bryant also led the Lakers to two more titles in 2009 and 2010.
Do fans agree?
Overall, fans seemed happy with Barnes’ answer. Bryant has been an icon for many fans across the globe, and Barnes is no exception. Some fans added Bryant was better with his game, and wrote that Barnes did indeed know his basketball.
James, on his end, started playing in 2003. His career began with the Cleveland Cavaliers before he moved to the Miami Heat. The Los Angeles Lakers are the third team in his career. James has won titles with all the three teams he has played with, while performing at a high level his entire career.

Though the Lakers are struggling to win this season, James’ 29.7 points per game average have drawn in some MVP talk. Barnes, who is currently a rookie, is scoring 15.5 points per game. The Raptors are placed seventh in the Eastern Conference and have a good enough shot at a deep playoff run.
