Skip Bayless and his hate for LeBron James needs no introduction. Bayless is known for bashing the Los Angeles Lakers star and also ridiculing him while talking about all-time greats.
Recently, he put a tweet calling out LeBron for earning $200 million more than NFL great Tom Brady. Skip talked about how Brady and also Tim Duncan took a salary reduction for the betterment of the teams in their twilight years.

The 4 time NBA champion recently signed a two-year extension with the Los Angeles Lakers. A few days ago, the player and the franchise agreed to a two-year extension worth around $97.1 million.
Interestingly enough, with this extension, LeBron becomes the highest earner in NBA history. He passes Kevin Durant as LeBron’s career earnings amount to around $532 million. The King sure knows how to make money!
On the other hand, Tom Brady is in his 23rd season in the NFL. The 45-year-old will earn around $75 million and he will officially be the highest earner in the NFL according to Forbes.
Another interesting reference made by Skip is the San Antonio Spurs legend, Tim Duncan. He earned just around 10 million in his last two seasons before retiring after the 2016-17 season.
How was LeBron James last season?
Although many might criticize LeBron for earning an unbelievable amount of money, his performances for his team make up for it. LeBron was the only hope for a lackluster Los Angeles Lakers team last season.
Despite having stars like Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook on the team, injuries and bad performances prevented the team from really clicking.

James averaged 30.3 points, 6.2 assists, and 8.2 rebounds for the 2021-22 season. He also achieved a phenomenal personal milestone of passing Karl Malone on the All-Time Scoring list. Moreover, LeBron James is all set to also pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and become the all-time scorer in NBA history soon.
