The famous music artist Dequantes Lamar, known professionally as Rich Homie Quan, recently listed some NBA athletes whose talent can lead to big careers in the music business. A number of great names were on this list, such as LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Damian Lillard.
All of these NBA players had earned so much in their careers that they could fill every box in their portfolios.

There was a reason why a rapper worth $3.5 million praised several NBA stars. In this industry, these players have shown some glimpses of their talent. During the summer of 2014, James and his friend Sian Cotton went to an Ohio recording studio, and they recorded a masterpiece. As a result, he titled the song ‘Kingdom’, which also featured James rapping over Jay-Z’s ‘F***WithMeYouKnowIGotIt’.
Back then, he bragged about his money, houses, fame, and championship rings. In addition, there was a song featuring LeBron James and Kevin Durant rapping together. The recording was made during the NBA lockout in 2011.
Years later, ‘It Ain’t Easy’ was leaked online in 2017. The track was released a year later with producer and engineer Franky Stewart mentioning the work done to it. It is obvious that there is talent among these players, although there are only a few songs and tunes for us to enjoy. It has been well received by the fans as a result of all these efforts.

All these famous stars are making a name for themselves in the music industry by rapping. Damian Lillard has also taken some time out from his busy NBA schedule to experiment with music. His interest in this industry has been evident in the past, and he has also released a few tunes.

We came to witness all these talents in NBA athletes, which Lamar emphasized by mentioning how much he appreciates their music. Then, while giving some advice, he mentioned “ Lillard for example, dope bars”. In addition, Durant was mentioned in the context of “can rap if he wants to pursue that”. When it came to James, he said that his “bars were like old school Run-DMC”.
