Is it the season to be jolly for Los Angeles Lakers fans? While being happy for an entire season is a questionable thought among Laker Nation, it sure is a good day to be a Lakers fan. The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Milwaukee Bucks 133-129 earlier today. The victory comes against a team with 15 wins and sitting second in the Eastern Conference table.
Hence, bagging a win was an important momentum boost for the Lakers. With that said, the Lakers’ prolific all-around performance earned high praise from a Laker legend, and others in the NBA community.

The Los Angeles Lakers saw contributions coming from every player on the team’s roster. However, Anthony Davis’s 44 points, LeBron James’ 28 points, and Russell Westbrook‘s 15 points were performances that stood out the most for fans. On the other hand, the Milwaukee Bucks stood tall till the last quarter because of Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s 40 points and Jrue Holiday‘s 28 points.
However, their efforts were in vain as the Lakers were simply dominant on both ends of the court. For fans, including the Lakers’ star-studded alumni, this win was a sign of the team finally coming together, and they expressed their joy online.
Magic Johnson and co. left impressed with the Lakers’ win over the Bucks
Magic Johnson was active on Twitter throughout the game. His tweets mirrored the emotions of fans as they were layered with excitement. He said, “Laker fans, this team is showing us what they could look like at their full potential with tonight?s definitive win over the Bucks 133-129!”?

The three-time?Super Bowl champion Shannon Sharpe declared Anthony Davis to be an MVP candidate and stated that he was busy celebrating this win. Fans also believed that this win was a big statement. They claimed that the team was officially back to business. Some stated that now, with a healthy LeBron and Davis, the Lakers would be unstoppable.

LeBron and AD react to big win in post-game interviews
LeBron James registered 11 assists in the game. With this, he surpassed Magic Johnson on the list of most career assists in the NBA. For the four-time NBA champion, this was a moment of honor. He said, “It’s an honor for me to try to carry on his legacy while I play this game.”?
Anthony Davis highlighted that team effort was what got them this win. Lakers’ Coach Darvin Ham voiced the same. He said, “It was awesome to see everybody coming together and competing against that team. The focus, the attention to detail..everybody being engaged.”
