LeBron James and Lakers Squad Had a $10,500 Worth Blast in Miami After Loss to Depleted Heat

The journey for the Lakers this season has been nothing short of topsy-turvy. Now seeded 8th in the Western Conference, the ‘Purple and Gold’, led by LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook, have not not played up to expectations despite their most recent win over the Nets.

After their loss in Miami that featured a depleted Heat squad, it was ironic to see LeBron and the Lakers have a blast in Miami. Here are the details of a party that involved an expenditure of at least $10,500.

LeBron James and the Lakers Live It Up in Miami

The loss to the Heat did not stop the Lakers from celebrating considering their standing this season. On the day prior to the game, NBA star Carmelo Anthony was seen enjoying some expensive liquor alongside celebrity Kamal Hotchandani at the Prime 112 steakhouse.

Post the Laker loss, the big three- LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook, along with other teammates, were spotted at the boho-chic hotspot – Kiki on the River, in Miami. It was here that the group was spotted enjoying a $10,500 bottle of Petrus, along with a bottle of Lobos Tequila – LeBron James’s tequila brand.

Moreover, the ‘King’ would go on to put up an Instagram post giving a shout out to the city of Miami, including his former championship winning Heat squad.

Clearly, the rollercoaster of a season for the Lakers did not stop them from celebrating in Miami.

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook this Season

After earning their 24th win of the season over the James Harden-led Brooklyn Nets, Laker fans will hope that team build a winning streak and prove to the rest of the league what was expected of them – favourites to win the NBA championship. While there is still a long way to go, the Laker squad can be proud of their 4th quarter defensive efforts against the Nets where they only conceded 18 points – 6 points fewer than compared to the loss against the Miami Heat.

Additionally, the return of Anthony Davis to the lineup gave a sigh of relief to the squad. Though Davis only finished with 8 points, he made a solid defensive contribution with 4 blocks. Furthermore, Westbrook had a decent shooting night shooting 50% from the field and scoring 15 points while also dishing out 4 assists and 6 rebounds. LeBron would lead the Lakers with 33 points shooting 14-21 from the field.

As the season moves closer towards its second half, the Lakers will be looking to strengthen their squad and carry a winning momentum. Moreover, fans will hope that their team does not suffer anymore injuries in the future. Hopefully, the ‘Purple and Gold’ will also party with a championship trophy in-hand.
