LeBron James allowed his sons to drink alcohol at home
King James has not hesitated to display his affection for wine. However, the NBA world was shocked when he revealed the liberal policies surrounding alcohol consumption in his house. Days before his debut with the Los Angeles Lakers, James, while talking about his sons, shed light on the shocking habit he shared with his sons.

In the pres-conference leading up to the debut with his new team, one of the reporters asked James about the things he picked up from his younger teammates. The King responded by quoting the example of his teen boys. While singing high praise of Bronny and Bryce’s maturity, James revealed how the two drink wine in the house. James said,?“My 14 and 11-year-olds drink wine. That’s how mature they are. They’ll be driving next week too.”?When asked what they drink, he said whatever he and his wife Savanah are having. However, the King clarified that his wife had nothing to do with it.?

Following his reveal, James unsurprisingly received major backlash from the NBA world. With the legal drinking age being 21 in the country, many fans criticized James and his parenting style. A non-profit organization called ‘Mothers against drunk driving’, dedicated to preventing drunk driving and underage drinking, strongly disapproved of James’s admission through an awareness post.
