In the video, Johnson could be seen surprising the 16-time Grammy winner from behind. The two shared a kiss on the cheek and a hug. Adele’s excitement after witnessing the popular actor was a sight to behold. However, Rich Paul appeared to be a little awkward as an unexpected moment occurred in front of him.

Adele won the Best Solo Performance award for “Easy on Me” in this year’s Grammys. Fortunately for Adele, Johnson was there on the stage to present her with the award. After their long-awaited meeting, The Rock invited her on stage by saying, “Get up there, best friend Adele.”

Meanwhile, an emotional Adele dedicated the award to her son Angelo in her speech. She also revealed that her partner Rich Paul had asked her not to cry if she won. The 34-year-old added, “And here I am, crying.”

Back in 2021, Adele claimed in an interview that she would ‘actually cry’ if she ever got to meet Dwayne Johnson. The popular singer also revealed that she was a big wrestling fan while growing up. Moreover, she shared that The Rock had sent her flowers when he and his wife could not make an appearance on her show. Adele said, “Literally, I nearly fell off my chair!”
