NBA superstar LeBron James is less than 100 points away from dethroning NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, but that’s not what has fans going gaga over him at the moment. In contrast to the Los Angeles Lakers‘ average performance this season, ‘King James’ has been swiftly climbing up the league’s multiple All-Time lists. In 2022, the 4x NBA champion became the first in league history to amass more than 10,000 points, rebounds, and assists. Now, he has hit yet another milestone while on his way to becoming the new NBA scoring leader.
LeBron James is averaging 30.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game despite the Lakers being one of the weakest teams this season. The purple and gold franchise is currently the 13th seed in the Western Conference rankings with just 24 wins out of 52 games played to date.
