Stephen Curry had an incredible Finals run against the Boston Celtics. He led his team to a 4th title and won his first Finals MVP, the only thing missing from his glorious resume. And he showcased unreal leadership qualities to do so that even left Alexis Ohanian, husband of Serena Williams, impressed.

It was game four of the Finals, and the Warriors were down big. Sadly, their leader on the court, Draymond Green, was having a terrible game. He had not had a great series, and this game was no different. Making things worse, the hostile Boston Celtics crowd kept making him their target. However, that’s when Curry stepped up and took the fight to them.

Green was having a bad game, and he seemed to be rattled by the crowd. And Curry understood that. He took over the ball and hit two back-to-back threes. He even trash-talked the crowd, letting them know he wasn’t ready to give up just yet.

This thoroughly impressed Ohanian, as he commented, ?Leaders lead,” seeing what Curry did.

This move took pressure off Green, who later admitted to it. He says,” I struggled so bad in Game 3, I was a f**king disaster,”

?And the reality is, I was a little rattled. And I?m never rattled because it was just unexpected. You expect the boos, you expect people screaming and yelling at you, but I never expected 21,000 people to be yelling ?F–k you Draymond.”‘

?The emotion from him in Game 4, I selfishly think, and no one?s going to stop me from thinking this, I selfishly think it was in protection of me,? Green added.

Curry indeed realized what Green was going through and stepped up for his teammate. He knew the importance of Draymond Green to the Warriors, and how desperately they needed him at his best. And he was so confident in his abilities that he decided to take the pressure upon himself and lead his pack to victory from the front.
