In recent times the tension between former championship duo, Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan may have grown deeper with the news. Notably, Pippen’s ex-wife, Larsa is dating His Airness’ son, Marcus Jordan. The rumors circulated everywhere and several NBA stars have come out to speak on the happenings. While speaking to VladTV, former Chicago Bulls forward, John Salley clarified his relationship with Pippen. Moreover, he also came to the defense of Larsa Pippen and Marcus.
After an infamous stint with the Toronto Raptors, Salley joined Michael Jordan and the Bulls in 1995. He was a former Bad Boy just like Dennis Rodman, Despite playing just 17 games for the six-time champions, the 58-year-old grew close to several of the stars. Scottie Pippen was one he considered an ally from those days.

However, when the eight-time All-Defensive first team member began beefing with Jordan, he also took a few shots at Salley. While speaking out on his once friend, the Bad Boy also dove into his friend and American TV personality, Larsa Pippen’s relationship with MJ’s son, Marcus Jordan.

Joining VladTv once again, Salley opened up about the heavily talked about the relationship between Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan. At first, the former Pistons forward looked back at his friendship with Scottie Pippen. Notably, a few incidents on ESPN and in person convinced him that they weren’t friends.

He then took time to defend his friend Larsa Pippen. Notably, the couple became subject to major backlash for their age difference. The two have a 17-year gap. However, Salley thinks that people only view it to be wrong because they are famous. He said, “Larsa Pippen literally doesn’t have to tell or have a conversation with anybody she hasn’t connected to. She shouldn’t have to. If you’re going to be around greatness’ son, and greatness’ son I’m sure is doing unbelievable things to keep her afloat physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually then go ahead. Because if he wasn’t famous and 31 years old no one would say anything.”
The relationship has arguably caused a negative spark much due to the ongoing bad blood between Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan, Many see the relationship to be a loss for the Pippen. However, there are arguably no such intentions involved on the part of both Larsa Pippen or Marcus Jordan.
