Larsa Pippen Admits Dating Marcus Jordan Herself was Not Her First Choice: “I was Trying to Set Him Up With..”

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan have been dating for a few months now. When they were initially seen together in Miami, there were rumbles that the two could be dating. However, Larsa denied it. Despite this, the couple received a lot of slack because of the equation between Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. Many were not fans of Pippen’s ex-wife dating MJ’s son. While the couple has come a long way since, that wasn’t the plan at all.

Despite persistent backlash from fans, Marcus and Larsa are going strong after officially announcing their relationship via social media. Interestingly, Larsa recently revealed that, a few months ago, she had no intention of dating Marcus.

Larsa Pippen tried to set up Marcus Jordan with her friends

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan recently made an appearance on the Way Up With Angela Yee podcast. While Larsa sat down for the show, Marcus stood there and watched it and answered some questions now and then. During the podcast, Larsa opened up on a variety of interesting things.

In one instance of the show, the host brought up the time when the couple was first seen together in a restaurant in Miami. The host stated that she thought the two were just hanging out because the two knew each other. Larsa intervened and revealed that it was true and they were indeed just friends at the time. She added that many think that the two knew each other for years because of Michael Jordan’s partnership with Scottie Pippen but they did not.

Larsa noted that the two met each other only four years ago, and they started spending time together because of their mutual friends. Furthermore, she disclosed that she even tried to set Marcus up with some of her friends. Larsa said, “We met four years ago, we were friends. We have mutual friends so were like in the same group like a lot. And it’s funny because I was trying to set him up with all my friends.”

This shocked everyone in the room. Marcus was in splits hearing this as well. Larsa then said that she tried to set up Marcus with some of her friends, saying that he is a great guy. However, she noted that Marcus did not go out with any of her friends. Marcus then revealed that they were really best friends and Larsa admitted to the notion and said that the two had a lot of similarities.
