The Charlotte Hornets sailed their way through a season-opening victory over Indiana Pacers. All thanks to their young force LaMelo Ball, who dropped 31 points and impressed Charlotte once again. The former Rookie of the Year has shown his abilities quite early on in the season.
In an attire of dominance, Melo has led a massive win for the Hornets. A 123-122 win over Pacers came after some struggle on both ends. Charlotte Hornets were under a 20-point deficit at the beginning of the third quarter. But, the monstrous talent of LaMelo Ball saved the day for his team. The 20-YO point guard scored 12 points during that quarter to pace up the scoreboard.
In all, Melo posted 31 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists for the win. Additionally, he knocked down 7-of-9 three-point shots that aced his offense with numbers. Indiana Pacers were simply left to think what happened after the second half of the game. Melo’s fiery outlook made the deal for Hornets.
