For the Lakers, it is crucial to keep their heads straight in this situation. While they are missing a key piece, Anthony Davis and Russ have proved that they can work as a duo. In addition, Carmelo Anthony is also off to a hot start at home averaging almost 20 points per game.

Without LeBron, the Lakers need to make a statement as a unit and get the job done. They have some tough teams coming up in their schedule and it won’t be an easy task for here on out.
