The media and the fans doubted the franchise to qualify for the NBA playoffs this season and were sure about the Lakers’ inability to contend. In his post-game interview, Davis talks about the LA Lakers’ rise in the season. Anthony said,?“We want to shock the world”. Davis emphasized the team’s journey at the beginning when they were down 2-10 in the regular season.

The addition of new pieces near the trade deadline made the team better and everybody in the Lakers locker room is motivated and hungry to win an NBA championship. Davis has been criticized a lot by his critics for his inconsistencies on the court and not stepping up at crucial moments. However, Davis clapped back at them, by scoring 17 points and securing 20 boards while blocking 2 shots in a must-win game 6.

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry gave props to the Lakers team. Steph Curry, in his post-game conference, explains his thoughts. Curry spoke that he is shell-shocked because of his team’s elimination by the Lakers. However, he’s proud of his teammates and the way they competed in the playoffs.
The LA Lakers advance to the conference finals
The Lakers outplayed the Warriors in a must-win game 6 to advance to the western conference finals. LA’s LeBron James shone in game 6 scoring 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists concealing Stephen Curry’s 32-point performance.

Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell complimented their leader by putting up 23 and 19 points respectively. Anthony Davis maintained the defensive pressure on the Warriors by grabbing 20 rebounds and blocking 2 shots.
