The Los Angeles Lakers legend shared his main resolution for the upcoming calendar year in the letter. He confessed his resolution to be Kinder, which is the same every year. To quote the message behind his resolution,?” One act of kindness a day may not change the big, wide world, but it changes me, and it changes my world.”

Besides revealing his resolution, Abdul-Jabbar also included a Christmas music video in the holiday message. However, the said music video is a duet from the movie Love Hard.?The video, which features Nina Dobrev and Jimmy O. Yang, is a parody of?Baby it’s cold outside,?which came out about a decade ago. The present video tries to water down the controversial lines of the video, making them acceptable.
Addressing the older version, Abdul-Jabbar?said, “The classic holiday song ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’ has received some sharp criticism for lyrics that can certainly be interpreted as, at the very least, sexually suspect.” The Hall of Famer intended his audience to enjoy the song again but in a less polarizing way through Nina Dobrev’s duet in Love Hard.
