Although the preseason games hardly make a difference, it prepares the team for what’s to come in the regular season. And it looks like the Phoenix Suns might be in trouble if they don’t get their act together.
After going 8-0 in the Orlando Bubble, they have lost all of their preseason games in the 2020-21 campaign. However, their star player Devin Booker still played spectacularly and might help the Suns get back to their form when the season begins.

The preseason catastrophe of the Phoenix Suns
The Suns ended with 4-0 in the preseason by losing 2 games to the Utah Jazz and 2 to the Los Angeles Lakers. Losing the first game to the Jazz was not surprising since their blockbuster acquisition, Chris Paul was absent owing to ankle soreness.
However, despite making his presence known in the second game and showing excellent chemistry with DeAndre Ayton, the Jazz were just a better team. Talking about the Lakers, their last game with them was a very close affair.
Anthony Davis showcased a monster performance by dropping 35 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists in just 30 minutes. Despite losing by just one point, the standout performer for the Suns was Devin Booker. He finished with 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists, after barely having played for 28 minutes.

Devin Booker looks better than ever
Booker has proved that he can play at the superstar level for the Suns. By adding Chris Paul to their roster, the franchise has definitely improved its chances of landing a spot in the Playoffs.
Even the Lakers’ forward Jared Dudley thinks the Suns have a lot of potential. But he also thinks that they can only do well if one more player steps up, that is DeAndre Ayton.

Dudley tagged Booker and posted on Twitter, “From his Body to his game @DevinBook looks phenomenal! You Can tell in his 6th season he’s noticeably lighter and faster on the floor…
“I expect big things from the Suns! But the key to that team is Ayton! He has to have meaningful stats! I’m not about the tools, it’s the mindset.”
