The Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers are on two opposite ends of the spectrum. With the former, having already lost three games and the latter, entering this matchup on a hot three-game winning streak. If things couldn’t get any worse, the purple and gold’s injury report keeps getting longer as the season continues.
After the consequences they had to face with LeBron James sitting out, looks like more trouble might be on the way. Another one of their players might be missing from the lineup while playing the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Rajon Rondo might not play against the Cavaliers?

The Cleveland Cavaliers just bagged an impressive win against the LA Clippers with a 92-79 score. Whereas, the Los Angeles Lakers suffered an unexpected 123-115 defeat at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Lakers went into their face-off against OKC without LeBron James and they paid the price for it.
Not only did they lose, but they lost badly by blowing their 26 point lead. Their inefficient defense is surely the one to be blamed, but they are also extremely short-handed. Injury woes have been a trouble for the Lakers ever since the season started. And it looks like it will continue to be, as Rajon Rondo also adds his name to the list.
Thankfully, LeBron is questionable for their game against the Cavs. This is great news but they do have other players still missing. Trevor Ariza, Wayne Ellington, Talen Horton-Tucker, and Kendrick Nunn are completely ruled out. On top of that Anthony Davis and Rajon Rondo are also probable for this game.

Can the Lakers end their winning streak?
Considering what happened in the previous game, nothing is off the table. The Cavs seem to have really found their mojo, as Colin Sexton and Jarrett Allen have helped their team dominate. However, the Lakers have gotten overconfidence last game and won’t make the same mistake in this one.
If Bron does end up playing, the Cavs should be worried. If not, they have a good chance of extending their winning streak. The Lakers will come into this game with all guns blazing after all the criticism they received. But their win is directly proportional to who ends up playing, which only time will tell.
