Over the years, LeBron James has established his dominance in the NBA. Alongside his personal records and achievements, he has also inspired younger stars in the league to step up their own play styles. LeBron plays for a star-studded Los Angeles Lakers team. Recently, a Lakers player disclosed the effect LeBron and other veterans on the team had on new players.
Lakers rookie Austin Reaves revealed details about his first season at the Lakers to ‘Lakers Nation’. The host questioned Reaves about the things that he had learned from the veterans on the roster. Reaves explained how the veterans, including LeBron, had helped him settle at his new franchise while also giving a special mention to Rajon Rondo.

Reaves remained drafted in the 2021 NBA draft. He signed with the Lakers on August 3, 2021, on a two-way contract. Lakers signed him to a standard NBA contract on September 27.
LeBron is a four-time NBA champion and won the 2020 NBA title with the Lakers.

LeBron James leads an experienced veteran Lakers team
James is no stranger to guiding NBA franchises to monumental victories. He has done it at three different franchises. Moreover, LeBron remains the only player to have won NBA titles with three different NBA franchises like the NBA Finals MVP. He has often displayed his clutch gene at times when his team has needed him the most.

At the Lakers, LeBron leads an experienced but more senior team. The Lakers are the oldest team when it comes to players’ average year in the NBA in the new 2021-22 season. An average of 30.0 ranks them first with the Brooklyn Nets second with an average age of 28.1. 37-year-old Carmelo Anthony is the oldest player on the roster. LeBron himself is 36 years old and will soon turn 37 on December 30.
