For Oklahoma, Westbrook was that prodigy whom every franchise hopes they can convert into a legend of the game. Night in and night out, the #0 would put in quality performances. After a season each at Houston and Washington, Jeanie Buss and the Lakers wanted an experienced guard to carry them forward. It is still debatable as to whether the 32-year-old was their best bet.

On Thursday night, the LA Lakers stepped out for redemption. A week ago, Frank Vogel’s men suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of a struggling Thunder squad. In the absence of LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and the fellow senior players had to shoulder the responsibilities. Instead, the 9-time All-star missed a crucial basket at the fag end, leaving the Staples Center in a state of disarray. And with his latest post following the 104-107 loss, he has invited trouble.

Westbrook took to Instagram to upload an image of himself dressed up. It was a stylish fit, and he captioned it, “…..Never flinch.” This left Lakers fans extremely upset, and they made their dissatisfaction known. One fan straight up commented, “Win us a game.” Meanwhile, numerous others criticized him for his below-par performances against the Thunder and otherwise. Take a look.
