After a disastrous start to the season, the Los Angeles Lakers have finally been able to gather some momentum. After two five-game losing streaks, the Lakers were able to win three straight games in a row, without LeBron James. But the team will probably stick with Westbrook for the rest of the season despite his poor performances and fans can’t help but scratch their heads over it.?

Almost everyone expected the Los Angeles Lakers to have another set of losing games after LeBron James went down with an injury while playing against the Los Angeles Clippers. However, the team has surprised almost everyone out there by going on a winning streak instead.?
Fans once again question the Lakers front office
And a lot of that credit goes to Anthony Davis. Davis has been playing exceptionally well in the last three games. And so is the rest of the team, including Russell Westbrook. And the Lakers will probably keep him, now that he’s playing better than before.?
Fans, on the other hand, don’t seem to be on board with this decision by the team’s front office. When the season started, fans, media, and analysts all blamed Westbrook for the downfall of the Lakers. It reached a point where everyone wondered when the team would trade the aging point guard.?
One fan tweeted, ?Lakers are hilarious man. THIS is when you trade him when his stock high, not when he’s playing garbage and it’s low. He had little to no trade value at the beginning of the season and now he’s built it up to where there’s some value.?

Here are some more reactions from Twitter.
I mean If it's not really making us better tho in a better position then it's no choice I get y'all don't want to hurt his feelings cause he playing great in his new role but at the end of the day it's about being in a position to compete so if that's what it takes then do it.

I'm not saying trade him I'm just saying if it's not putting us in a better position then it's time to let him go it ain't about trying to be nice when LeBron on yo team it's contend or bust even now. We rode it out with him last season instead of trading at the deadline.

If the Buddy Hield + Myles Turner deal is still on the table,
the Lakers are dumb to not take it or are planning to go into a rebuild after 5 years of wasting LeBron and AD's twilight years.

Kobe is rolling over in his grave watching all of you clowns praise a former MVP being paid $47 million dollars to come off the bench because he can’t produce vs starters bro

Russell Westbrook has really turned things around since the start. He took a smaller roll and moved to the bench to lead the team’s second unit, and has drastically improved his shooting numbers from the field and beyond the arc.
Will a Westbrook trade help LeBron James and the team?

One question that arises even if the Lakers manage to find a trade around Westbrook is whether it will make the team a title contender. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, ?While some combination of Rob Pelinka, Myles Turner, and Buddy Hield has been trending topics on Twitter after each Lakers loss, many rival executives believe acquiring both players won?t make Los Angeles a contender in the West.?
?Some executives believe the Lakers will stand pat and ride out the Westbrook experiment if he continues to produce off the bench,? he added. Trading Westbrook just to improve the roster this season would mean that the Lakers would have to trade their draft picks as well.?
