Worries mount for LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers as another player joined the list of injured players. Moreover, the team is struggling to catch up in the Western Conference. During the game against the Denver Nuggets, the Lakers faced a crushing defeat. Firstly, the team played against the #1 seed without stars like James and Anthony Davis. Secondly, they lost another player to injury during the game. Following the unfortunate event, the fans took to Twitter to express their opinions on the Lakers’ injury worries.

Injuries are part and parcel of an athlete’s life but it affects the team if multiple star players are injured. As per reports from ESPN, currently, the Lakers have six players out on injury.

During the Monday night game between the Lakers and Nuggets, guard Patrick Beverley sustained an injury on his right hip during the second quarter. Following the injury, he was ruled out for the rest of the game. Other than Beverley, the Lakers have James, Davis, Tony Brown, Lonnie Walker IV, and Austin Reaves on the injury list.

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham addressed Beverley’s injury to the press after the game. He said, “We’ll wait and see what our medical staff say but they once they evaluate him in the morning.” However, the severity of the injury is yet to be disclosed.
