Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most jaw-dropping players in the league. When he is not pulverizing his opponents on the court, the Greek Freak is either making TikToks or pranking someone. However, his latest ‘poor’ attempt at cracking up the fans didn’t work so well and Antetokounmpo ended up getting harshly trolled instead.
The Milwaukee Bucks’ recent games did not go as well as fans had expected. Following a consecutive four-game loss, the Bucks’ most recent game resulted in a loss against the struggling Charlotte Hornets. While the Bucks are currently placed third in the Eastern Conference rankings, Giannis is probably aware that fans’ expectations of him are pretty much higher than most NBA stars.

The Milwaukee Bucks played against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night at Fiserv Forum. The Hornets, who are one of the bottom five teams, shocked the NBA world when they defeated one of the top contending teams. Giannis’ Bucks only managed to score 109 against the Hornets’ 138. Evidently, fans are worried following the unexpected outcome. While the 6x NBA All-Star assured fans to not worry about the loss, his poor attempt at making a joke didn’t go down well with several Twitter users.
Giannis:
“There's no panic mode. Have you ever seen the scene from – how you call it – Bob SquarePants? SpongeBob? He goes into his brain and he's looking for something and goes crazy and starts burning things? I feel like that sometimes. When we lose that happens. It's okay.” pic.twitter.com/beGJtxUjuE

Reflecting on the 2021 NBA champion’s poor ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ reference, Twitterati took on the opportunity to not only troll him for his ‘intentional’ mistake but also remind him of a certain ‘ladder’ incident. Below are a few of the tweets.

It's intentional so everybody would talk about it instead of his bad performance.

Giannis gets into an altercation with arena workers
Following a disappointing loss against the Philadelphia 76ers on November 18, Giannis Antetokounmpo got busy with a postgame free-throw session on the Sixers’ home court. Shortly after the Bucks forward began practicing, a few of the arena workers placed a 12ft ladder under the hoop. After the 28-year-old star moved the ladder to resume his practice, the workers moved it back again.
