The strife between Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving and the Nets management continues. Kyrie Irving opted into his $37 million contract recently as the Nets refused to give him a max contract. Since then, he has repeatedly voiced his opinions on Steve Nash and other Nets’ staff, who he thinks are incompetent. Recently, the New York Post covered Kyrie Irving’s hatred towards the Nets faculty.

Kevin Durant is another Brooklyn Nets player that voiced his opinions about Steve Nash and other people in the management office. KD recently told the Nets owner that his wish to be traded is still intact, and he disapproved of Steve Nash and GM Sean Marks’ management style.
Tsai tweeted out a vote of confidence for the GM and head coach as he implied that he would do right by the Nets staff and do what is best for the organization. There were rumors that Kevin Durant’s potential trade destinations include Toronto Raptors or the Phoenix Suns. As for Kyrie Irving, he remains a strong contender for a spot on the Los Angeles Lakers roster as talks continue.
Kyrie Irving and LeBron James might play together as a sequel to their Cleveland Cavaliers days. Kyrie’s lack of faith in the Nets management and his words towards Nash and Sean make it unlikely that he would suit up for the Nets, especially if the Coach and GM were to stay the same. Meanwhile, Kevin Durant signed a 4 year deal with the Nets and has decided to ask for trade just a year into his contract.

Amidst this, the Brooklyn Nets owner tweeted out to give clarity and confidence to Nash and the management about the future of the franchise.
Our front office and coaching staff have my support. We will make decisions in the best interest of the Brooklyn Nets.

He said, “Our front office and coaching staff have my support; we will make decisions in the best interest of the Brooklyn Nets.”?
The real question that arises is, does this increase the odds of Kyrie Irving finding his way to LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers?
The Irving and Steve Nash saga continues
This is not the first time Steve Nash and Kyrie haven’t seen eye to eye. ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith once reported that Kyrie Irving would go against the better judgment of coach Nash to host his own team practice after hours.

Stephen A. said, “So, when Steve Nash had the team on the floor, and they practiced, they would finish, and he’d go and get five guys and conduct his own practice, you have any idea how disrespectful that is to the Steve Nash? He conducted his own practices after Steve Nash conducted a practice. I mean, he’s driving them crazy.“
