There are two Kevin Durant versions. First, that slays on the court and second, that rules Twitter like none other. Messing up with either can prove expensive for celebrities and regular people all alike.

The Brooklyn Nets star and currently the Team USA captain also keeps the back of his teammates whenever possible. So recently, he did it for Kyrie Irving when a troller decided to post an opinion that targeted the helping hands around Ky.

Kevin Durant comes back strongly at the troll that included Kyrie Irving

A Twitter account named 73-9 and they LIED recently posted the words, “Kyrie needs a better team around him.” The troller left it to the imagination of the readers to make assumptions out of the cryptic post. It somehow crossed Kevin Durant’s eyes and managed to get the attention.

In response, Team USA’s captain posted a loner’s picture at 6 am (Tokyo time) to mock the troller. The Sniper suggested how only a broke, lonely, & frustrated person can post one such comment for a personality he knows nothing about.

Also, the account’s name clearly mocked Kevin Durant’s former team in the Warriors. Notably, KD joined the GSW organisation when they had closed their last season (2015-16) with a record-breaking 73-9 W/L on the table. Perhaps this became another reason why the 11x All-Star considered responding.

Why would Ky want a better team around him?

Recently, Ky accused Nike for launching Kyrie 8 without his approval or even running the design through his eyes. Reportedly, the star point guard’s signature line is doing wonders for Nike’s business but he hated the way the brand handled his latest shoe’s release.

So there’s a small chance that the troller meant the Nike team when he wrote that remark. Whatever it be, KD woke up to read that and he responded like a savage to entertain us. So does this make you a Durant follower or critic? Help us know in the comments below.
