Moreover, Irving has also been a consistent player for Brooklyn. Despite giving it his all, both parties didn?t seem to agree on an extension. Amid the growing trade rumors, KAI sent out a suspicious tweet.

After his early season drama, Irving has flipped the script. Notably, the expert scorer has lived up to his reputation. The eight-time All-Star and?Kevin Durant?have led Brooklyn to one of the best records in the East. KAI has done all that while averaging 27.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.3 assists. He was also named as a starter in the upcoming All-Star game.

Nets fans fell in love with Irving once again. His sensational scoring had arenas speechless. However, according to the NBA, more was needed to earn him his desired extension. After requesting a trade, the 31-year-old made his first comments.

Irving is currently in his last season with the Brooklyn Nets. And it seems the organization isn’t willing to commit him to the $200 million extension. Despite having intentions of making the city home, KAI is now searching for a new address. While his trade request is making waves, the former Rookie of The Year. That was until today.

Irving took to Twitter and said,?“To my Peers: JUST BE YOURSelf and GROW! Keep people around who CELEBRATE YOU unconditionally and appreciates all of the hard work that gets put in. Distance yourself from the folks who manipulate, hate, and hurt.”?

His apparent message broke down the NBA world.

Both parties might have a case for their decision. Kyrie Irving has made up for his actions on and off the court. As far as this season goes, he has been consistent and a regular in the lineup playing 40 games. He has already exceeded his last season?s tally of 29. However, Brooklyn has seen firsthand his unpredictable nature. Abrupt absenteeism and missing time haven?t been uncommon for Irving during his Nets tenure. Likewise, roping him in for $200 million is a decision that needs heavy debate.
