An aging squad was going to be one of the prime concerns for Frank Vogel. As expected, injuries and their lack of exuberance have brought about their downfall. Kwame Brown takes down LeBron James’ Lakers over handling of Dwight Howard

Despite their inefficiency, one thing has remained constant. 37-year-old LeBron James has been the unhinged spark in the Lakers attack. Averaging 29 points, over 6 assists, and close to 8 rebounds, he is the primary reason why the men in yellow are still within the top-8. His fellow partner from the late 30s however, had only played a role off the bench on most occasions.

Howard, who has played numerous seasons in the NBA now, is in the final stretch of his career. Expected to play crucial cameos, he hasn’t lived up to his bidding. But according to 39-year-old Kwame Brown, he can’t be blamed for his poor output.

Dudes be rolling, getting layups all day, and you expect a 30+ year-old man to come off the bench after sitting that long, ready to play defense? Yeah good luck with that.”
