Kobe Bryant’s Former Teammate Rips Into “Scared” LeBron James for Obsession With Money: “Don’t Say That Dumb Sh*t”

Billionaire NBA superstar LeBron James is regarded by many to be the best player ever. Apart from his basketball skills, James has built a fortune through some smart investments and blockbuster contract deals. However, not everyone is a fan of LeBron and his love for making money.

Recently, former Laker Kwame Brown, who played with Kobe Bryant went off about LeBron James. He accused the four-time NBA champion of being ‘scared’.

Not only that, he asserted that LeBron needs a friend like Brown around him to put him on the right track while ranting about his obsession with making money.

Former Laker goes off on LeBron James for being ‘scared’

Kwame Brown first burst onto the scene when he was drafted as the #1 overall pick during the 2001 NBA draft by the Washington Wizards. However, he did not have the best of careers. He is often referred to as a ‘bust’ by fans and experts around the world.

Recently, he touched upon his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers during a live stream. He said, “The only damn team ya’ll wanna talk about is the Lakers and we all know why because LeBron on there and oh sh*t, LeBron’s scared.“

Furthermore, he accused LeBron James of being scared on Twitter and also talked about how he is an ideal friend as he calls out what’s right and what’s wrong.

“See, you need a friend like me around you so I can say look here man, don’t say that dumb shit. You ain’t scared of god damn nothing. You were just online singing tee grizzley a couple of years ago”, said Brown. He further added, “All ya’ll exposing is that the mighty dollar is still the number 1 priority on everyone’s mind.”

Recently, LeBron James broke the internet after the Lakers signed him to a blockbuster contract. According to reports, King James agreed to a two-year deal worth around $97.1 million.

Despite having numerous differences, LeBron and Brown do have something in common. The two are both #1 overall picks coming straight out of high school. However, James and Brown have had two very different careers.

James has played 20 games against Kwame Brown with a dominating 14-6 record. In those 20 games, he averages 28.2 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 7.0 assists.
