Legendary duo Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant disagree publicly
There is no denying Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant formed one of the best duos in the NBA. The two won 3 NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers and dominated the entire league.
However, the two have very different views regarding a controversial topic that gripped the NFL a few years ago. Colin Kaepernick, the then-San Fransisco 49ers Quarterback refused to stand during the National Anthem.
This move came as a protest against widespread violence across the whole country. Talking about the Kaepernick case, 5 times NBA champion Kobe Bryant had a lot to say.
Kobe said, “I think where Colin Kaepernick stood for is the epitome of doing what he believes is right. Things have been taken out of context and misconstrued and they try to bend it this way and that way and missing the point of the message. I think, having the bravery to be able to do that is something that we should all stand for.”
