Kobe Bryant had inspired athletes all around the world. Bryant even impacted lives on the court, being an inspiration to the young guys. His work ethic was known to everyone as Mamba Mentality. And obviously, he worked extremely hard to be the best basketball player he could be.
His mindset was an example to many, bringing up no excuses and putting in the work every day. He also helped some of the best high school players in the league by setting up camps with Nike. Interestingly, Miami Heat’s current star player was one of them.
Tyler Herro’s biggest inspiration

Herro was one of the top high school players in the country. Incidentally, Tyler was invited to Kobe Bryant’s camp that was sponsored by Nike in Los Angeles. The camp gave these high school players a chance to showcase their skills and talent in front of Kobe Bryant. Camp was not only about playing, but also some life-changing advice from the Mamba himself.
Bryant talked about his mindset and how working extremely hard to reach a level unattainable for others.
“When everyone else is sleeping, I?m working double or triple what everyone else is. That means everyone has to work four or five times harder ? because no one can catch me,”,?said Bryant. These words heavily inspired Herro. Tyler’s father said that after his camp, he got up early every day and never stopped working.

This pushed Herro to grind harder and get one step closer to making it to the league.

Kobe Bryant had an impact on Herro’s life moving forward
After his draft, Herro played exceptionally well in his first season, especially in the playoffs. Being one of the best shooters on the team, Herro will play a key role in the playoffs this year as well. The Heat will take on the Hawks in the first round this year.
