Growing up watching Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan performing on the court was an inspiration for Kobe Bryant. He witnessed these stars putting extraordinary efforts and talent into the game.

The five-time NBA champion looks up to the idols that made him figure out what’s best for him. He shaped his career accordingly, doing the things as Magic and Jordan did. He added his own flair to it while executing the moves on the court.

Legends like Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson captivated Kobe’s childhood and pushed his limits to be an NBA player.

At the age of 13, Kobe was clear about his career. It was to become one of the best basketball players in the world. And that’s a really tough challenge with the players like Magic and Jordan at their peak.

In an interview, Kobe did share a thought that made him sturdy enough to focus on nothing else than his career in basketball.

And when asked about the inspiration, he replied, “the love of the game, the challenge. I would watch Magic (Johnson) play. I’d watch, Michael (Jordan) play… and I’d say you know, can I get to that level? I don’t know but let’s find out.”

He then added, “that curiosity to see where I could push this thing led me down that path”.

Kobe Bryant was so much, in particular, to crack open a persona of himself in a brand. And it led to ‘Black Mamba’, which was associated with the philosophy of life itself and not just the game.

According to the reports, the brand ’Black Mamba’ is his sheer effort to motivate the upcoming generation to follow the legacy that’s left behind.

Besides, Kobe had plans to get into the advertising and marketing profession if basketball didn’t shine the light on him.
