Klay Thompson Finally Divulges His Take on Stephen Curry?s Viral Video That Turned Out to Be Fake

Fans around the world are well aware of his shooting prowess. So when a video of Curry making five straight full-court shots made the rounds of the Internet, fans were completely sold.

However, it was later revealed that the video was fake. Now, teammate Klay Thompson has given his thoughts on the viral video.

Had it been any other star draining the shots, most fans might have been skeptical. However, Steph’s dazzling resume was enough to submerge any doubts in people’s minds. Because fans know what the Dubs guard is capable of doing on the hardwood. And Klay Thompson seems to agree.

Thompson gives major props to Stephen Curry

When asked during a press conference, what people believing the fake video signifies, Klay Thompson said, “That he’s the greatest to ever shoot it.”

The viral video was made by Ari Fararooy in partnership with Sports Illustrated. Fararooy is a video director based in Los Angeles. He is known for making content like this. In May, he made a video for NFL superstar Tom Brady on the golf course. Brady’s video garnered around 4.5 million views. The Stephen Curry video, on the other hand, has already racked up over 28 million views.

The reigning Finals MVP was asked about the video as well, after the Golden State Warriors’ loss against the Indiana Pacers on Monday. In response, Curry wanted everyone to know he actually made two of the shots.

“I’ll let them be the judge of that but it’s an ultimate compliment to probably be amazed by it but not think it’s outlandish that it could be real,” Curry told reporters. He added, “I did make two of them, just in case anybody was wondering.”

Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are one of the best duos ever to lace up. Over the years, the Splash Bros have helped the Warriors win four NBA titles.
