Former Laker Kwame Brown is best remembered by fans for being one of the biggest what-ifs ever. After retiring from the league in 2013, Brown has garnered fans by giving his opinions on issues around the world. He is not afraid to speak his heart out on pressing socio-political issues. Recently, Brown addressed the controversy surrounding former billionaire Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.

Talking on his podcast, Brown touched upon West and the recent controversy he is involved in. Fans and celebrities across the world have given their opinions on West and they don’t seem to like what he did.

West is in the news for his alleged anti-semitic views that he put out on his social media account recently. Since his outburst, many people around the world have called him out and Adidas has cut ties with the rapper. Following up on similar lines like many other celebrities, Kwame Brown went all out while talking about Kanye.

Former Laker and Kobe Bryant’s teammate goes off on Kanye West

Kwame Brown didn’t have the best of NBA careers. He is widely considered a failure and his tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers in a post-Shaquille O’Neal era playing alongside Kobe Bryant is one to forget.

However, the former 1st overall pick has made a name for himself with his online presence on social media platforms, especially YouTube.

Talking about Kanye West in a recent livestream, he brought in Kevin Hart and Kim Kardashian in the debate. He clearly wasn’t happy with Hart wearing a dress and he put his thoughts out in the open.

Moreover, he also lashed out at West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian during the same conversation. He accused West of not being a good husband and for being okay with his wife wearing revealing clothing in public.

Brown said, “You’re no longer wifey material!“

He further added, “It’s the same thing I was saying about Kevin Hart. You got a Billion dollars and you still got to wear a dress?“

As it turns out, Brown had a point of contention with Kim Kardashian wearing revealing apparel despite being married at the time to Kanye West. The former number one pick said that he’d leave the popular supermodel if he were in Ye’s position.

In addition, Brown opposed the idea of Kevin Hart wearing a dress in an SNL sketch a few years ago. According to Brown, Hart didn’t have to do that with all the money he has in the bank.

The former Los Angeles Lakers player is not the first person to criticize Kanye West. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was very vocal about West’s antics on social media and the former NBA champion tagged West as an attention-seeking person.
