Stephen Curry, the Golden State Warriors superstar has slowly crawled into many top-10-player lists. The four-time NBA champion won the NBA finals MVP adding to his fourth NBA Championship ring in the 2021-22 season. After the warriors had a dismal display in the 2020-21 season, the Dubs led by Stephen Curry made a comeback in the following season.

Boston Celtics legend, Kevin Garnett had quite a few things to say while praising the Warriors’ no. 30. In fact, the legacy of Curry was solidified by Garnett’s remarks.

Kevin Garnett upholds the legacy of Stephen Curry

Kevin Garnett while talking about Stephen Curry in a recent podcast, mentioned ?You got to go to bed at night for that man,

“We gracious to be in the MJ Era, the Kobe Era, even Shaq, Shaq changed the game, breaking backboards. This man changed the game, he got every guard thinking they have range,? he added.

The Boston Celtics legend had high praise for Curry, comparing him to the all-time greats of the game. According to the former NBA Champion, Golden State Warriors‘ superstar has done the equivalent of changing the game for the newer generation.?

Garnett explained how he thinks that Curry can shoot from anywhere, and the eight-time NBA All-star has made players who are six feet think that they can do numerous things that normal players aren?t able to.

The Celtics legend said ?Hell Yeah? ?when he was asked whether Curry is a top-10 player in the NBA. These are humbling words coming from Kevin Garnett, who has been a hard-fought player back in his playing career.?

Kevin Garnett also praised the two-time NBA MVP by adding that whatever he does is on a consistent basis. That solidifies Stephen Curry?s place in the top 10 players in history, according to Garnett.

Garnett and Curry battle in the NBA

Stephen Curry and Kevin Garnett have battled it out in the NBA 10 times. Both have an equal amount of wins with each winning five against the other. Although the eight-time All-Star started his playing career during the last few years of Garnett, it was still very impressive.

Back in 2015, a year before the Celtics’ no. 5 hung up his boots, he compared the then 27-year-old to Michael Jordan. It is admirable of Garnett to reserve such high praise for Steph despite the Warriors defeating his former team in the Finals.
