Celtics and Timberwolves legend Kevin Garnett was part of the league for long enough to play alongside multiple generational talents. During his two decades in the NBA, Garnett has played opposite the likes of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and of course the ageless LeBron James. The 36-year-old is still shining for the LA Lakers, and continues to break barriers every year. Even 45-year ‘KG’ accepted in a recent interview, that ‘Bron’ was the real deal.

Kick starting his career in the mid 90s, Garnett evolved into a legendary forward. He claimed his sole NBA crown in 2008, and was part of the league’s All-star setup for a total of 15 times. Averaging close to 18 points in his career, Garnett admitted that playing with Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan impacted his game. They were impeccable at what they did, and brutally honest. Speaking of honest, Garnett has now dished out how brutal LeBron James can be.

A 4-time league winner himself, James has never been one to hide behind anybody. He has always grabbed the bull by the horns, and come out victorious. He is a 17-time All-star, and is showing no signs of stopping soon. Characteristically, the duo of Garnett and LeBron have clashed a few times. Although they were never compatriots, the Celtics great admitted to LeBron’s honesty while talking shit.

Speaking on the ‘Million Dollaz Worth of Game’ podcast, Garnett said, “[In the league] You’re being tested every night. So I’ve seen when KD was on here, he spoke about something when I got to Boston, not that we were bullies, but I wanted to see who was made of what. And a lot of people don’t know that you know, LeBron James, he won’t say it out loud, but he’ll shit talk back to you. Bron a real one, you know, he’s from Akron.”

As if LeBron’s quality wasn’t enough of a challenge, opponents have to deal with his trash talking as well. Such huge propositions however, are the things that champions are made of. And James is as big a champion as one can be!
