But they got back to winning ways as they blew out the Washington Wizards on the back of a dominant team performance. As a result, Kevin Durant and the Nets received a massive boost for their upcoming game against the Charlotte Hornets. On the other hand, Michael Jordan?s Hornets suffered a massive injury setback.

The Nets came into the season with a lot of doubts and a huge question mark on their stars. Their offseason first started with Durant sending out a trade request, which eventually led to nothing. Meanwhile, the Nets made a few key signings, which made their team better, on paper at least. Subsequently, the Nets ended up as one of the favorites to win it all.?

However, the start has been tough. They have to deal with a lack of a proper system with players returning after a long time and all the off-court drama. Hornets’ All-Star set to miss matchup against Kevin Durant and Brooklyn Nets

Despite all the drama and uncertainty surrounding the Nets, Kevin Durant has been a lone shining star. He has been incredible all season long and has been one of the league’s best players. His consistent play has been the only thing that has kept the Nets competitive. He was spectacular in his latest outing as he dropped 28 points and displayed one of the highlight plays of the year.

Their next matchup is against Michael Jordan’s Hornets. Both teams have a similar record and have had disappointing starts to the season. But for their next matchup, the Hornets will be at a major disadvantage as they will be without multiple stars. The Hornets will be without their All-Star centerpiece LaMelo Ball, who has suffered a left ankle sprain. Gordon Hayward and Cody Martin are set to miss the game as well.
