2014 seems like a long time back as we’re now into a whole new era. The game has evolved, and Durant himself has switched between different teams in a span of seven years. However, he was the same elite scorer back then as well.

Kevin Durant won his first league MVP title while playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder. The unguardable forward averaged 32.0 points per game during the regular season, while no other player even managed to average in the 30s.

Durant carried OKC all the way to the Conference Finals in the 2014 Playoffs but fell short against the San Antonio Spurs. Nonetheless, this was one of the greatest individual seasons in NBA history.
